All of the mouments and buildings, or houses, as the cat calls them, are real and they come from the work of real artists and architects. All similarities with real events are intentional, and the mail character is based on a real cat that used to roam around the streets of the City of Hvar. No one has seen him there in a long time, but there have been rumors that he was seen in Split, keeping up his strolls. This is why in this book, the cat takes us on the journey through his new city and new Big Houses, those of Split.
